Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

from other reviews I've seen, that issue with the fake leather on deadpool degrading like that is very common. from what I've seen, the new DP will be using different material that hopefully won't degrade like that.

The new Deadpool seems to be using similar material that some of the Spidey’s use. And even the belt and stuff is molded plastic instead of pleather. Going forward Hot Toys really needs to just completely avoid pleather.

The HT Deadpool 1 figure is notorious for crappy materials. They fixed that issue with the Deadpool 2 figure. I have a spare I can send you if you’re interested. All accessories are the same

Hot toys Should redo the Deadpool suit he had in his first two films. These figs don't hold up that well. At least the first fig doesn't. They've improved since then, they can make it much much better

Got the same issue going on with my deadpool, I already bought the liquitex acrylic paint, just haven't build up the courage to start peeling the black off.

The material on this Deadpool 1 Hot Toys figure is exactly why you need to replace it with the new one which is just beautiful.

I have both of these figures, love them both. I never posed my deadpool out of fear of ruining it but i would take him out the box once in awhile but a few years ago i noticed the black parts were getting soft, now most of it is peeling off…most likely due to it being in the package and in a room with no ac during summer time. I changed wolverines clothes once but the belt is peeling now sadly. A pain to change his clothes lol. I took both of them out to display a couple weeks ago….iDk im tempted for the the new dp figure but i love the first deadpool suit design alot more

I have the X3 Wolverine and the claws on mine are doing the same. I have the Deadpool 2 figure and the black sections on mine are still perfectly fine

You could just buy a better body for him, HT undersized him so the clothing they chose would look more natural. Wolverine looks good with a worldbox AT012. idk if the HT arms will match up with those elbow joints but there are forearm-hand combos and just hand versions of all the wolverine claws that work with the worldbox. it's not super bulky so you can still fit the standard outfits on him but he doesn't look like a skinny long necked wierdo either. They go for just under 50 usd on AE. I did my whole 1970's wolverine with metal claws kitbash for around 150. I bought an unpainted sculpt and airbrushed it myself or it would have been a bit more. The right outfit was the most expensive part and you already have all that.
