PSA: this video was more a commercial for buying necessary gear, and less info about how to climb outdoors. For that, participate in a course at a local crag to learn building and cleaning an anchor, belay differences, bailing out etc.

And google or ask for info on access to specific crags, including parking, noise, accepted paths, dangers on the way and on the routes.

Step 1 - Go to an outdoor climbing crash course. There are a lot of extra things you never learn indoors, and there are no instructors around like in the gyms.

If you put a locking carabiner on the anchors how are you supposed to retrieve it?

Outdoor climbing is really dirty, expensive, bug ridden and full of poisonous snakes, spiders AND ticks . Been there, never again.
