And this is the final boss fight of the game. It's a series of boss fights against various forms of Master Xehanort in a world he has full control over, so it's really unique and has a lot of cool visuals. We fight a bunch of copies of him or something that wield Organization XIII weapons across the city, and then we fight Armored Xehanort.

Armored Xehanort can twist the city around and contort it, as well as have it actually attack us and toss us into water which forces us to fight using underwater mechanics, which instantly makes it more difficult than normal.

After that we go against Xehanort with the X-Blade, which is the proper final boss. I lost to him because there's a part of the fight where he forces you to go into Anti-Form and for whatever reason my attacks would not connect, and you can't damage him in this state, so you need your last hits on the combo to hit him to make him flinch enough to restore your normal form. So that was a bit irksome. I also didn't realize until after the battle that you can block in Anti-Form, which would have helped. You couldn't block in Anti-Form in KH2, so I just never through to even try. Still, I enjoyed it and felt it provided a challenge despite my grievances that are more just me being unlucky than anything.

I'm not exactly a fan of the ending though, with Xehanort just getting to be a good guy, Sora "disappearing" or whatever to rescue Kairi, it all kind of feels unwarranted. But meh, I still enjoyed it. The whole game was a blast and while there's no way it could live up to 10+ years of build up and expectations, it came pretty close. Which is more than I could say for most games.
