$599 for a “budget” iPhone with 60hz, a notch and single camera with crap Apple intelligence and no MagSafe in 2025. If you are going to drop $599 it’s better to just buy an older model with better specs or just pay $200 more for the better newer model. What were they thinking?

I think this is like a ‘catfish’ phone like the DJI made with the NEO drone after 5-6 months they released the new drone so same thing here. They release the IPhone 16E And than few months after they will make the iPhone 17, pro and max, maybe a 17e as well. Just a smart marketing but foxy way. If they think 599$ is cheap for most of people is better to buy an older version you have plenty of so many things.
