Dem neck gains on that last rep tho 💪
3 years ago I won pride performances Deadlift contest with a 225kg pull, however I failed the 230kg twice. One of the attempts was even with straps.
Multiple injuries and a bunch of bullshit thrown my way, this is a PB in every respect of the word. Clean form, went up like butter, at a lighter bodyweight, and in less than ideal conditions (try deadlifting with a big ass wig and mesh contact lenses, tell me that you felt stronger than ever lmao).
It's a slow grind when you're late in your training career, but the rewards do still come with patience and proper programming. Speaking of, hit me up if you need some guidance. Link in my bio.
I think I have 250kg in me right now, but I'm gonna savour this PB and take my time building. Before the year is over, perhaps you'll see it on camera 💪
