This artist uses a swinging pendulum and a spinning canvas to create incredible geometric paintings. Artist Bjoern Kirsch, 45, from Saarbrucken, Germany, uses a pendulum to make geometric prints of varying styles and complexity. While the pendulum swings gently over the centre of the canvas, Bjoern spins the canvas to create incredible patterns. Some of Bjoern’s most complex paintings can take up to two weeks to allow comprehensive-time for planning, varnishing and layering. Bjoern’s favourite design so far is the geometric turtle design as it took a great deal of time and detail to complete.
