It was a "Missing Man" formation (you see number 3 is missing), of Hungarian Air Force, in tribute to the funeral of the last Hungarian WW2 fighter pilot, who died this year.

only thing coming to my mind here is how crazy it is what amazing architecture we used to create compared to the literal garbage of today. sure, we still build some amazing stuff and our engineering is immensely more advanced. but these absolutely fucking massive gothic churches and palaces and even all the normal old buildings in many european countries were on a completely different level. 90% of architecture today looks like a build it yourself set from ikea. like so horrible you actually wonder from whom these people are learning from today. I'm convinced minimally half of all architecture students should have chosen literally anything else instead of visually ruining europe.

sure, everything anyone cares about now is quick and cheap and does not leave much room for beauty and artistry but that doesn't mean you have to paint a facade like you drew inspiration from the mcdonalds 2 blocks down.
