This Bike Park Is Just Built Different!

Windrock Bike Park has earned its reputation for being the gnarliest mountain bike parks in the U.S. and has become the training grounds for the fastest mountain bike racers in the Country. It's home to some of the steepest natural MTB trails, while having some of the big jumps in the southeast. There aren't many bike parks that intimidate me, but this one does because I know it can easily end your riding season. The last time I rode at Windrock Mountain Bike park was 4 years ago, and I wasn't even on my own bike.

Wow, you are human. You actually crashed in this video and kept it in there. Thanks for keeping it honest for people like me who crash literally every time they go riding! I'm had to become my own bike mechanic to keep the repair costs down. I Love your videos. They inspire me to keep riding, even though I suck compared to you. I have learned some things just watching you ride, and it has helped me become a better rider.

I love how even though Phil bent his bars he continued to send it down the mountain the rest of the way absolute mad man!

As soon as I saw that kid Bryson do the first couple jumps I said to myself we'll be seeing more of him in future, kids got potential!

I love it. Shows up. No warm up. Straight into a blind race. What a legend.

18:09 for anyone that hasn't been to Windrock, that landing Bryson hit is ridiculously far. Amazing a kid that young could get that kinda distance ... I'll remember him from this video when he turns pro in a few years.

After watching this video for the third time I sent it to every one I ride with. It is in my opinion the best non-professional riding video out there. Absolutely love the trails and the continent. At 63 years of age I do not have the physical strength to even attempt to ride like this nor do I have the hand eye coordination anymore. Thank you for what you do. Again absolutely love this video. You rock. Keep it up.

That young fella is going to be a big time rider one day. Great that you gave him your time!

Mad respect for the kid and his dad. That is definitely old school parenting. Your kids can't develop any talents if you shelter them too much.

I usually avoid the POV type videos on any topic, but you actually talk your way through them, about the trail, or even about the history of the area you're riding. I enjoy your POV's. There is another rider from B.C. who is very watchable. At 52, and surviving 7 cancer diagnosis, I am looking at getting back on a bike, getting back into shape, and having fun riding bikes. You make it look fun, and honestly, your personality is so friendly, and sincere. Thank You Phil!

As a new person to the world of downhill coming from a lifetime of big mountain skiing you guys have all my respect in the world. That kid you were riding with is an absolute beast half of this stuff I watch is way to gnarly for me to even try. I remember when I was a kid growing up skiing and just how awesome it felt when older more advanced skiers would give me there time and take me around the mountain. It’s a beautiful thing to see that is still a thing in the world.

You've got proper guts taking that race at that speed, falling subsequently bending your bars and then giving them a pat and carrying on.

Oh, there’s a turn there…. I’m a blind 62-year-old that loves to listen to your videos. I just love the sounds and I know you’re on a bicycle and you’re running down mountains, so can only imagine how crazy they are the way they sound. God bless and stay safe.❤❤❤

Phil: I'll give him a little space....
2 mins later
Phil: I need to stop talking...
That kid's got skills!

I like how everyone is so chill when they meet phil. They're not like "OMG ARE YOU PHIL? I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL BRO". they're just casually like "Hey Phil"

Admit it Phil, Bryson (the kid) had to drag his brakes a little so you could catch up! (Kidding!)
Way to bounce back from the crash. +2 bonus points for the bent bars!
