The first 7 years of any child’s life, their brain is a sponge soaking up any and everything that happens around it.

As a child I was really good at Halo 3.

An old man once told me that young children can learn anything because they don't know that they can't.

That makes sense to me. Kids have plenty of time to learn things without distractions, if they are in a healthy environment.

This is an example of joe spouting stuff that he has no idea what he’s talking about but he says it with conviction so he sounds like an expert. Children learning quickly has nothing to do with the fact that they don’t have jobs or gf or wives or being preoccupied. He makes like children have unreal focus. They don’t. Their brains are just more malleable allowing for easier learning. And it’s not just humans. All animals are like that

I'm out of bandwidth to be honest. I can barely handle anything anymore. After my son was diagnosed with cancer, it's like I can't focus on anything. My brain is solidified in sorrow and anxiety. It sucks. I wish I was a kid again sometimes.

I know a Paediatrician who says kids brains produce more dopamine because everything is novel and interesting and they get a high learning

Telling a growing kid to shut up especially from a parent just because the kid is asking you questions like every minute prevents their creativity to grow. This is how children learn. Through curiosity.

I love how you add neuromusic to your posts. AND that you post the actual words they are speaking. ✨

This is why I have been so deeply grateful for my military service. I am now able to go to college and it's all paid for so I don't have to focus on one single thing except for school. I have a job but I don't actually need it. My GI bill covers everything. I have so much time to dedicate to my studies while my classmates are staying up till 3am to have enough time after work to study while also freaking out about paying rent and stressing about college debt. Realistically I could survive on my GI bill alone and not have a job at all and still have zero debt. I work because I want to not because I have to. And if I need a day off to study for an exam I tell my boss and he let's me go. And if he didn't let me go I'd quit because I'm in a position where my studies can take priority over my job

Countries that teach two or three languages from the time a child is around three have a trilingual population, which is advantageous for them. In the US, students don't begin foreign language studies until they are teen-agers.

Children have a higher synaptic brain plasticity which is why they learn things so much faster. Once they grow into teenagers and young adults, the level of brain plasticity decreases
