❤this series, I’m a complete sucker for eye tutorials. I
I miss OG beauty content, remember a palette would release and it’s all you’d see for weeks/months. Technique, application, looks/tutorials superseded this consumerism buybuybuy bubble that’s impossible to keep up with.

I really appreciate having content from people with a more "normal" makeup usage aka don't review a new palette every week (or more!). I like seeing what are your favourites, what you keep coming back to, which brands you trust with your money. Review channels often have such high volume I get tired of watching reviews! I love this series for having a different format and showing regular daily use of makeup you already own!

Ifeel the same Kara, we have our anniversary very close to Valentine's day so we never celebrate it (also everything from roses to restaurants get crazy expensive so we avoid them altogether that day!!!) but February is a good month to play with red eyeshadows without being judged, so I'm on board with that XDDD

I'm surprised you didn't use the shimmers from the Huda Beauty Rose Quartz palette! Millie from badtothebrow said they're quite hard to dupe even with her huge indie collection, and I'm waiting for it to go on sale before I consider picking it up.
