I love that there’s so much adaptive equipment these days. Though our disabilities are vastly different (mines not a mobile disability, ) I work with a lot of different people and try to stay abreast of what’s out there in general for our communities.

One of the coolest things I saw was utensils for people who may have less grip strength, but also palsy. It has some sort of weight in it to balance out tremors the user may have. I also wish elder care homes could get piles of them frankly.

Thank you so much Fren for sharing your tips and vulnerabilities! I dropped a follow and look forward to your lovely journey and educations ✨🫶🏻✨ *Happy holidays and or Winter time* ❤️

I am so impressed, with how strong, determined and resilient you are! I have been commenting on what an incredible man you have by your side, but honestly, he has one hell of an incredible woman by his side, as well! 💕

Wow my occupational therapist never even mentioned I could get silverware like that. But I’m a Canadian veteran who broke her neck and back at work. You’re broken your garbage. Thank you so much. It’s what I want for Xmas.

I’m gonna buy these silverware sets for my client at work he has the same injury as you.
He was injured in 84’ one year after his wedding.. went on to have 2 kids and has been married to the same woman since. ❤️ also had a full career as a teacher and is now retired. Despite the freak accident he has had a full and beautiful life.
God bless you.

Just wanted to respond to this video….it’s amazing for you to have been through so much and now living life to the fullest!

You’re a person to be looked up to and wish you the best….it’s great seeing you smile and having fun and living life with your family and significant other!

Your story reminded me of my mom, and al though she died from her spinal cord injury in 2008 at the age of 66, still to this day at my young age of 55 (haha), her death is so powerful and devastating, but seeing your story just made me think about her and you being happy with your family and everyone is such a blessing and makes me happy that you’re happy too…..sorry for the random message…god bless you and your family!

That is cool. Being a survivor of 3 strokes, I can relate to not being able to use a fork. While I am able to now, my heart and frustration goes out to you. Keep the faith girlfriend.
