This is the most sensitive and emotionally moving performance of Bach's famous Prelude 998 that I have been able to find on YouTube.

One can feel Ricardo believes in this music. (me too; in Bach). Wonderful. You got the essence of it. Wonderful.

Excellent and smooth - a master's interpretation! As for the discussion about tempo and "how Bach should be played": there is only one way to play Bach (or any kind of music) and that is to play it just as you feel it in the moment of playing. If you feel like squeezing out a Largo at lightspeed - hit it! why not? :)

This sounds amazing. Please, what kind of guitar is that?

There is a little time lag in some points in the beginning of the video, but then it is perfectly synchronized, check for yourself carefully. That time lag in not my fault, but the original video's itself.

Just to clarify for everyone; Ricardo is playing a replica of a nineteenth century guitar, not one from the baroque era. And yes, he does play it a little too slow for my taste as well. :-)
