First Time Home Buyer Incentive Explained - CMHC Program

This video will talk about the Canadian First Time Home Buyer Incentive. The First Time Home Buyer's Program is available through the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation. This incentive is designed to help people with Down Payment Assistance. If you're looking at becoming a First Time Home Owner this can be a very good option for you! The Governement will offer 5% or 10% as part of your down payment. This is also a shared equity program, meaning that the government holds interest in your home as well. When you sell your home you will have to repay what was lent to you.
