Parasympathetic is rest and digest, sympathetic is fight or flight :) so activating parasympathetic calms that fight or flight response :)

Hey girl! I just love your videos. I often watch them while on the treadmill :)
I’d love to see a “Get ready with me” type video where you show your skincare/makeup routine etc. I admire your look so much and don’t think you’ve done one of those videos in a while.

I love LMNT. They’re pricey, but totally worth the cost for me. I used to get wicked migraines, but I think the added electrolytes has helped.

Your videos are so helpful and actually enriching because through examples you simplify healthy habits that for bussy people might seem complicated
It is very important to have an adequate protein intake, as we grow, live and age
Love your consistency and creativity within the fitness topic, that is basically saying the Basics that people know but do not put into practice

I have figured out 4 meals a day, each about 300 cal/30g protein and only 1200-1500 cal, yayy! I'm never hungry, delicious real good, and now just need to add the training because there's no sense eating all this protein without training lol I don't like to eat until like 12-1 so in the am I add protein powder and collagen protein to coffee, plus a hard boiled egg = 30g before 11am!

It’s been a week since discovering you, but your videos have been encouraging to listen to each day. I walk on the treadmill or bike for 30 min - during that time, I’ll listen to one of your videos to educate myself / reinforce something I’ve learned. Then decide if I can implement the tip, if I already am, or how.
Question on snacks, do you eat it whenever you “feel” hungry inbetween meals? What’s your hunger cue, if any?
Right now, I’ve been getting most of my protein in during the morning hours (7am-12pm). I used to snack between 1p-5p but I’ve been working on breaking that habit. This week, I was able to get about 105g of protein in each day. This week’s goal is to get an average of 110g/day. Im trying to stay encouraged and be patient / consistent.

I’ve definitely heard that protein doesn’t “count” if you intake too much at a time.

Hey April I love your content! So glad to see someone promoting eating at maintenance. I was wondering if you could cover a video about reverse dieting / bulking / cutting. I'm currently at ~30% BF, avg weight of 58kg, weight training 3-4x a week, get 12k steps and my TDEE fluctuates between 1500 - 1600 cals now. I've tried to get into a 1, 400 deficit but it's soooo hard. That said, the mental gymnastics it's taking me to increase my calories is 😵 Would be good for us short girlies to know to determine when to reverse diet / bulk / cut, thanks!!

I just discovered this channel and I would like to take the master class😢 I’m 5’0 and after having my baby 18 months ago I gain A TON LOT OF WEIGHT that it’s taking me forever to drop even though I have lost a lot already but to gain my old weight back I need to lose AT LEAST another 15-20 lbs. PLEASE,
