I like how us Americans are starting to catch on and call these CUVs and small trucks "ute" Thumbs up on this video. I cant wait for reviews on the new CX3 because I will have to chose between those 2 to purchase this summer.

Have owned the Trax for now almost 3 yrs...nothing but SMILES !!! And practically a snowmobile in the winter months....Give the little ute a chance! I'm not regretting the fact I did !

not seeing the problem with this vehicle.  The Buick version is actually a damn nice vehicle.  We looked at one(haven't decided yet) and easily thought it was the nicest and most stylish vehicle of that type.  This is pretty similar.  I live in a semi-urban area and cars like the Sonic, Fiesta and CR-V types are pretty popular even amongst older people making good money.  I could easily see this doing well.  Its just harder to park and maneuver and rent and mortgages are high.  No reason this won't do pretty well.

This vehicle is meant for college students, in case you were wondering.

I test drove this thing in 2013.  It's bloody underpowered.   The rear seats WON'T fit 3 NORMAL sized adults.  The interior materials are atrocious.   And the price is absurd.  A fully loaded model ballooned to ALMOST 27 GRAND!!!!   And that was a FWD model!!!   A navigation system wasn't EVEN available.  Get a Mazda CX-5 or the Nissan Rogue folks.  Made in Japan/USA and superior in every

Looks like a Sonic platform with an SUV body on it. And I will bet you will not touch the AWD version for less than $25, 000.
Throw in the fact that the whole interior will be nothing but hard plastic along with the already over use of exterior plastic, and you've got a reason for parking as far from civilization in Wal-Mart parking lot's to prevent a total loss if a shopping cart even scraps the Trax.
1.4 litre turbo charged 4 cylinder motor that can't get out of its own way and will plug up internally with todays gasoline that is mixed with ethenal due to the Gasoline Direct Injection technology (google GDI)
Don't forget that it will have a interference engine in it (google that too). So it will have a timing belt that needs to be changed out every 60, 000 miles along with a new water pump for an average cost of $1, 000 dollars each time.
And are you too lazy to turn your head while on the cell phone to back up your car and need a rear view in dash camera?
Oh, and did I mention that most people will finance the Trax cause they are too lazy to save money and pay cash and end up paying a few thousand more for the plastic toy car.
People, wake up and smell the coffee. Your spending half your income on these plastic cars. Junk!

The voice over says it comes with 10 "Standard Airbags" - what are standard airbags? Are there more advanced airbags available?
Perhaps he means there are 10 airbags "as standard" wholly different meaning.

In ten years there will be an article on the ugliest cars of the 2010's and this will certainly will be on it.

Looks like a toy plastic car, is this the geo tracker of the 21st century? Except crappier?

What, Government Motors doesn't have enough shitpiles on the road they have to build this shit? Buick's version is horrible ugly and Chevy's version is twice that.
