Last week I have had the fuel filter in my w203 c320 replaces. but now it next to the fuel flter I hear a dull noise, and the car does not give suddenly power when I accelerate as if the fuel is not getting to the engine as it might have an could the mechanis have installed the tubes backwars or could the fuel filter be faulty?

Thanks for the video. Since I had the filter changed my car is running rough at cold start and it died on me even I had gas on the tank I just added some more fuel and it started right up. I think that the mechanic put the fuel lines from the right backward. Can that be an option ?

Don't forget to take lots of digital pictures before you remove that fuel filter. Those existing hoses must go back in the right location or the engine wont start. IF the hoses are in the correct location and still the car wont start, then the electrical fuel pump has gone dead. and you have to replace the fuel pump.
