My SUPER Conservative small town i grew up in had its first ever pride this year.

I live an hour east of Morgantown. Garrett County, Maryland just had our first Pride ever. On June 15. Probably smaller than Morgantown but it was nicely attended and very positive. I’m a gay Christian and my church will have a table at Cumberland Pride next weekend.

I interviewed for a job in Morgantown years ago. It was just after a major blizzard event. I was glad I didn't get the job, actually. I hope the region can pull themselves out of the 18th century some day.

I lived in a Florida small town for about half a year in '06 - there was no Pride and the people could be hateful but usually they kept it to themselves.

I moved away from there in the early 90s.I got bashed in Charleston on 3 diffe r ent occasions. Broken ribs car vandalized. Almost Heaven my ass.

Maybe the hate for the pride is all Woke wave that happening right now, I am bisexual and crossdresser but I am against the trans childhood and the drags queen tell histories to kids, I don't like that and understand that the hate against pride get more common

I was there and live a hour away in WV. It is an issue. Although the tire burnout was in Huntington, several. hours South of Morgantown.
