On today’s episode of Sunday Brunch with Curly Tales’ Editor-In-Chief Kamiya Jani, Madhuri and Sanjay talk about their love for Mumbai, its food and what it was like growing up here.

Madhuri reveals more about her cooking skills and what she cooks for breakfast for her kids. She also recalls what it was like working back in the day as an actor when there were no vanity vans or any other facilities available today. I like how Madhuri said that one of the differences is that if something happens in our lives, for instance if we lose someone we still need to go play the part, play the character.

Another obvious difference is the healthcare that they can afford by being a celebrity as that brings affluence. And Covid would have heightened this.

Seen 'Raja' at Plaza and boy...in this movie or her other movies when she appeared on screen no one moved from seats, I cannot forget those days.
I don't mean to undermine today's movies, but the magic of seeing Madhuri Dixit or Sridevi or Karisma Kapoor or female actors before them on big screen was just something else and they all did movies with equal footage so it wasn't as if they were just for song and dance.
Still have music CD of Raja and the songs still sound superb !
