Why dont more manufacturers make a tool that covers everything at a fair price? These tools are all cheaply made, and the extra bell and whistles such as display type and rubber cases etc. do NOT justify the premium price asked. The data exists, manufactures choose to not include it to sell more/ newer units to maximize profits.

Important part is the store I bought on line told that I can easily constant with icarsoft and update the scanner sold me but after I got the scanner I tried on several cars when I saw is not working the way supposed to work I contacted the company and never be able could speak and hold on any one! And finally returned the scanner back! Scanner with out good care and service worth noting!!!

Many Icarsoft stop reading engine codes after updating, forever… even the pro… so you will have a code reader that doesn’t read codes (engine) the rest will be fine and you will be able to erase engine light but not to read the code that explain why the light is on… Icarsoft… like having a bottle opener that doesn’t open bottles…

Sir you just mentioned easy update and free !! can you tell us how easy way can update my scanner because after over year I tried many times to updated with internet I wasn't able and got ICARSOFT phone numbers and called many times but I never could get the hold of anyone!!

No, No, No. Ive been looking into which scan tool to buy & have found plenty that offer free updates but users are complaining that even with the latest updates, their scan tool can still only use EOBD features for vehicles up to 2013. The OBD2 features are fully functional but as Ive learnt, thats nearly useless if you want to fault find the other systems. Free updates do not guarantee your tool will be even close to updated.

I'm not sure why you are advertising for Icarsoft scanner ! I got one icarsoft professional but wasn't good for nothing at all. Not even be able to do ABS or SRS. In power menu was telling be able to diagnostic all Mercedes but I tried 2013 350 coup k serials and scanner couldn't scan the car and I be able to find the problem! Icarsoft company is laying with putting multiple cars professional scanner on their v2 or mb scanners because I tried both and quite trying again!

A fault code can set due to faulty sensors, wiring, modules, power or ground connections, software issues, or unusual outlying problems caused by other systems. In fact once some codes set, monitors stop running and other faults may arise once the known issue is fixed.

The problem in our industry is the less people know, the more likely they think they got ripped off. (And sometimes they do also get ripped off) But more often than not the customer has no idea what’s going on, but saw something on the internet so assumes the worst.

When you say the icarsoft can do the electronic park brake, this is for like replacing brake pads with electric park brake or is this only for changing the actual handbrake assembly, being able to put the car in 'workshop mode' is that part of the park brake function?
