It's been a crazy week for us and the creek property. Hadlee still hasn't got her buck so we are backing out and giving it a much needed break. We will be working on the homestead today and getting a couple little projects finished up that I have been putting off.

Thanks for your service and I am active duty in the Royal Canadian Air Force for 35 years and today, the 11th Nov is our Remembrance Day for those who lost their lives defending our freedoms in various conflicts throughout the years. We hold this on the 11th Day at the 11th Hour at the time the Armistice was signed ending WW1 in 1918.

Daddy was a WWII vet.
Passed in 2008.
Son is a Disabled Vet.
Almost lost him in the middle east.
I almost became a Gold Mother.
He is still in bad shape.
He can't hardly walk.

My husband was a Marine, the older he got, the prouder and more thankful he was for the experience. He even credited the Marines for teaching him some important life lessons that made things easier or better, because of knowing them. Thank you for your service!

Hubby and I are both Nam Era vets, stateside. We all did our part, but the combat vets deserve so much respect. Our son has retired after 30 years in the Army, Gulf War, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He saw so much, and still remains a strong, kind man, and a highly respected leader. Our love to all vets, and their families, who also sacrificed for our country.
