I remember when this was first revealed back in 2019, and I thought it looked wicked, especially that rear end. It's sweet to finally see it being rolled out, but unfortunately it's been so long since it was first revealed that I feel any kind of buzz or hype has tapered off. The world is also very different now than it was 6 years ago. I would still love to see this car do well though.

I love Lotus - I own a Lotus - but wouldn't it have been more interesting to pit the Evija against it's multi-million dollar competitors? Yes, of course it can beat a Honda Civic around a race track, but what does it do against a Bugatti Chiron, Aston Valkyarie, Koenigsegg Jesko, Rimac Nevera?
How do we know if Lotus offers good value for $2 Million? Regardless, it looks epic.

The problem with lotus and lack of desirability is that they take too long to release their products. The world simply moves too fast and the novelty wears off from the time the car is announced to the time they actually release the car.
