That thing is a steal for $28, 000. Hi-ace in my country is about $24, 000 without 4WD and Automatic Transmission. No 4WD offroad tires options as well. It is as plain as it can be with steel tires, A/C, radio and manual transmission 2WD.

Yes, HIACE is a very popular vehicle. Here in Sri Lanka there are variety of HIACEs. From old to newer version, from flat roof to hi-roof. We have a nick name for the newer HIACEs, we call these KDH. Also HIACEs are very durable. The company I'm currently working, own two HIACEs. The older one is a flat roof and it's now 12 years old. It has run more that 700, 000 KMs and is still running in good condition. It's a marvelous piece of machine made by Toyota.
