I worked in Hollywood for almost 20 years.
I worked at one studio whose owner purchased an original Ford GT-40 in the late 1970s.
His son told me he would often drive the car to and from his high school.
When I told him I didn't believe him. he took me to his office, pulled down a photo album off his shelf and said:
"Here's the proof."
So I sat down at his desk and opened the album.
There were dozens of photos of that GT-40 on his driveway.
I was shocked.
He told me the biggest regret his father had was selling that car.
