The only thing that fanfiction is missing is the 1-2 new champions that Riot would need to sell. With season 1 of Pilt/Zaun being a wildly successful test bed and season 2 being a fairly successful marketing exercise, unfortunately they'd almost certainly want to expand the marketing aspect.

I'd love to see Sona get featured! As an Ionian orphan escaping the Noxian invasion, she would be a good connection to the other two planned shows. Plus I've always wanted to see her reaction to the mage rebellion, where she would end up, and so on. I'm also very interested, and terrified, to see how much of Mageseeker is gonna get retconned.

My only issue is we've already seen a lot of this. Whether its through mage seeker, the comics or just many of their stories. What made Arcane so cool to me is it was wholly unique. It felt fresh and unique. Something wed never properly seen before. It was cool seeing their origin stories for the first time. Whereas we've already experienced pretty much the entire story arc of Demacia. So idk im sure they could pull it off, but i just think something like the Freljord would be WAY cooler and something new

I would love to see Quinn get the Arcane type glow up (similar to Jayce, who wasn't very popular before Arcane), as I think her and Sona could be an interesting insight into a part of Demacian Politics (and personally, I would love to see Quinn be revealed as a mage with some sort of magic related to Valor, making her a little more relevant in the conflict, or maybe even just having a sisterly connection to Sona who is a mage, giving her a stake). Depending on what time period it's in, I would also absolutely love to see Cithria, she's been pushed a decent amount and I think she could very easily be an 'eyes in' character to certain aspects of Demacia as well. I love when more niche characters are given a chance to shine, even if they are not the main focus! Same sentiment goes for Xin Zhao and Poppy who have not been focused on as much in the lore.

1) Garen/Lux/Sylas - can't get away from this one.
2) Jarvan/Shyvana - SHOULDN'T get away from this one
3) Fiora/Vayne/Poppy - Honourable Warrior/Relentless Demon Hunter/Unknown Hero would make an interesting way of exploring Demacia, as all three can be used to describe Demacia. (and don't lie, you reading this post - you forgot that Fiora was Demacian, didn't... yeah okay I'm projecting)

I'd really like Kayle and Morgana to be ever-present shadows but never actually portrayed. You have gold and white highlights and stark lighting when something "Kayle Coded" happens (not necessarily Good!), blacks and purples and shadows when something "Morgana coded" happens, but you never see either of them actually appear beyond maybe some kind of iconography in the background.

The others? Gallio would be hilarious, but no. Quinn, Sona and Xin Zhao would be better kept for more of crossover with Noxus. Maybe they are background characters, or a one-and-done scene (Quinn in a military scene being order to scout, Sona playing a concert in the background, Xin Zhao giving Jarvan his father's last message then departing, etc.)

As for the story? I'd actually want to avoid the Mageseeker storyline because it's already been told. It's a great story, it's an easy story to tell, but the problem is that it's not a new story. The Arcane story for Zaun and Piltover was ENTIRELY new, after all - so a new story for Demacia would be my focus. I'd have to give it a LOT of thought to see where that would go. And if I wanted to go the Arcane route and completely rewrite something integral to League of Legends?

Ok but consider this- Katarina being set up to seem very unassuming so people who dont know league lore dont realize her deal. But people who do- or are rewatching the season- just start to feel Dread when she shows up and shes being all unassuming and getting close to garen, maybe even giving them a really genuine moment of connection before she kills Jarvan III to make her reveal as an assassin That much more potent. Maybe even her sympathising Genuinely with his plight, though with him talking very vaguely about Lux's situation bc he cant out her. Like Garen is confiding in her about Lux and feeling like she doesnt get hes just looking out for her after a fight unaware shes getting close to him to be able to get info on her mark. And shes like "damn, im getting attached. I cant have that." Idk i think if anyone could get me really invested in the drama of these two itd be the arcane team and if they went that direction id be so sold
