The MOST compliments I have had on a cologne has actually been Gentleman Givenchy EDT, Prada Luna Black, Dior Homme Eau, and Bvlgari Atlantique.

I think part of the reason Sauvage and BDC are down so much is because of the rising popularity of fragrance TikTok and how a lot of people on there will trash on those two fragrances because of how popular they are. And those people watching those videos who otherwise might have bought those fragrances choose not to.

Awesome content! Thanks for bringing some fresh content ideas to the frag comm. How much competition is there in the industry? It seems like a lot with all these different brands but then you find out many of them are owned by the same big companies like LVMH, L'Oreal, and Puig. I would love to see a video explaining how all the big parent companies work.

The Parfum versions of BDC and Sauvage are great options that are distinct enough to stand out a bit.

Crazy that acqua di gio is still that high. That was everyones go to scent when i was in high school 20+ years ago. That and Tommy. Just tells you how great a fragrance it is.

It'd be really interesting to see these numbers compared to Europe/rest of the world. I feel like JPG is a huge seller over here in the UK, I smell Le Male Elixir projecting off strangers all the time when I'm out. I bet Sauvage is still #1 though.

It has to be mentioned when discussing fragrance sales, more than 2/3 of yearly sales occur in Q4. Don't know how much the list would change, but would love to see the differences.

Just snagged a couple travel refill sets of Parfums De Marly from Jomashop 2/4/23, each 30ml total at $65 a piece. I'm cheap and it seemed pretty reasonable for PDM. Figured I'd pass it on in case anyone else was interested.
