When I was looking to retire, I first looked at Boise and tracked the weather all summer. The triple-digit temperatures all summer dissuaded me from moving there. I ended up retiring to a smaller town several miles from Coeur d'Alene. It is perfect for my outdoor retirement lifestyle and I couldn't be happier. Love your videos, Trent. Keep 'em coming. They always validate my decision to move here.

The people in Coeur d'Alene are super nice. We were very surprised at the extent of kindness we experienced all over town.

Thanks for making this video. Idaho is beautiful. I am leaning toward Sandpoint. Boise is nice. I am coming from Vancouver, WA. I am a skiier and I love skiing at Schweitzer. I work from home so the job part is easy. Spokane is close enough if I need to get into town, but I don't need to very often. I STAY AWAY from Portland as much as I can. Idaho rocks!

You forgot to mention that Boise has a Airport and you don’t have to travel to Spokane or Seattle. Great videos!!

Awesome video - thank you! I'm a refugee from Hillsboro, OR - moved here early this month and am currently in an AirBnB in downtown CDA waiting for our new home in Hayden Lake to close. SOOO looking forward to getting my license plates changed!!!

Thank you for addressing the liberal/conservative aspect. I moved to Boise from LA and was dismayed to discover that city officials would like nothing better than to import California style liberalism and are doing so. Well-meaning natives adopt liberalism via the internet and have no clue as to the reality of living with it, as I do. When I tell them some of my insane LA stories, they think I am lying. If I show them report of the extreme LA crime, they will say it's biased or edited, or some such. It's really sad cause they're not going to like the result if they're successful.

I recently moved to the Coeur D’Alene area and will experience my first winter here. I’m not used to snow and ice. I hope my family embraces it and doesn’t hate it. We gave up a lot to move here.

As you recommend your favorite places in Idaho for people to move to please understand that the population density is getting so ridiculous eventually they will feel like they're moving back to the place they just left. Have a nice day.

Pretty excited for my move to north Idaho, haven't a clue exactly where I'm gonna live yet. My job allows for me to live anywhere from Spokane to western Montana. Things are a bit pricey in idaho. I hope I can make a permanent run there.

Boise’s current mayor is apparently a lefty.

BSU also contributes to the liberal tilt of Boise. It’s kind of like a blue dot in a sea of red.

I remember driving around the north end and seeing rainbow flags and yard signs about how no person is illegal.

Considering the geographic location of Boise, it’s all a little performative and forced, amusing even, like your 15 year old dying her hair pink.
