Man, they pump them out so fast these days! Regardless, they are still the best brand on Ali by some margin and give anything else at theri price points a good old spanking for fit and finish. Honestly, that $200 diver is just sensationally well made. They are getting their branding sorted out, but maybe some model names would be a step forward in the future? I find the SN004, SN0021-R2D2 all a bit much. Cheers, Jody

In my opinion, Jody, the PRX homage i think is for those who wants an automatic PRX with the quartz dial, or those who wants higher beat movement in their PRX.

I know you covered Helm the other day, but anyone joining the list now has a 4 year wait for pretty much every model (I know because I put myself down for them). It's pretty understandable that a lot of people would go for a well made, immediately available version.

That SN085 is sharp. The Tiffany blue SN021 use of grey for "contrast" is pretty on-point as well. If San Martin isn't careful, they're going to begin inspired original designs in lieu of homages soon...

San Martin haven't sent you the "62MAS chrono" because it has a major flaw, it's a manual wind watch with a screw down crown. When fully wound you have to wait 30 minutes until you can screw the crown back in. The pointed hands on the SN085 dive watch are reminiscent of some Hamilton 'Khaki Scuba' dive watches.

The quality of these watches under macro looks amazing. The bronze version is possibly the first ever bronze watch I’ve been tempted by. Looks superb. Great video.

I have a few San Martin watches. Once you own one, it's hard to look at other companies in the Asian market. Fantastic quality and San Martin to me, is micro brand status.

Holy cow, that SN085 is stunning! And original! Those hands are very similar to what you would call "dauphine style", except that the seconds hand lacks a small arrow tip. Please do a complete review, I never considered a SM before but I'm really tempted by that
