Is Britain's Democracy in Crisis? | The Agenda

Показать описание
Britain has had three prime ministers in barely two months. It's tempting to assume that the rather astonishing turnover is due somehow to a flawed cast of characters in and around the ruling Conservative Party. But amid the post-Brexit economic turmoil there, to say nothing of the ripple effects of the pandemic, perhaps there is more to the story than first meets the eye. Joining us to get a read on #10 Downing Street, and beyond: Anoosh Chakelian (Britain editor of the New Statesman), Andrew Macdougall (Director at Trafalgar Strategy and former director of communications in prime minister Stephen Harper's government), Ben Ansell (professor at University of Oxford), and Ailsa Henderson (professor at University of Edinburgh).
