Overall I am very happy with the Printer. Its the first i can say that will give Bambu and run! I have literally, every creality printer. None are in my farm. They just havent been at the qualtiy level i need for our brand. Now, things have changed. The printer is a close to production version. The Firrmare is getting updated and new features are being added. I just got FLOW calibration and PA calibtration. I am currently testing what is the difference between each and how it impacts our prints. The pain is the fact that after the last update I have had to recalibrate all my profiles. There are surely changes in the firmware that impacted the print. Now the prints are not bad but I had gaps in my top layer. I like smooth top layers no ironing. This printer is a solid yes! I am wating to see what Bambu will have next year. but if you want a large printer this is it. I can print 4 parts per tray on the bambu, I can print 9 parts at time. Love it

I think every other 3d printing content creator should take notes on how good this video is as far as a review for a printer goes, non biased opinion that states the actual facts about the machine! Definitely going to keep watching your videos mate good job!

I'm really excited to see so many multicolor 3D printers hitting the market in 2024! It's awesome to have more options for multicolor printing. However, the prices are pretty steep, so I'll need to consider my actual needs and maybe wait six months to see if they’re worth the investment. If these printers are mainly targeted at farm operators, how do they stack up against the FLSUN S1 Pro? Can they handle fast, batch printing efficiently? Maybe one day they’ll become a part of my workflow.

@ebpman How is it holding up after several months or have you even touched it since making this video?

Hi, there’s Creality Print v 5.1.6 out now, I’m getting much better prints now that I’ve done some calculations, my surface finish is smooth and the first layer surface is smooth, not that I had a problem in the first place. Because of the issues in C/Print 5.0 I went back to v4; I now use C/Print 5.1.6 which was released a few weeks ago now. I still have a slight cobweb stringing which I’m sure there’s a setting to adjust which should eliminate this. Also, I have a K1 using the smooth heat bed which I have the bed heat at 60c, I’ve only been 3D printing for nearly 12 months, but had been looking at 3D printers for about 5 years.
Great video and interesting. Take care. Regards Gary

Thank you so much for doing reviews based on the ability to make technical products. I would love to see tests with parts that have to be bolted, pressed, work as joints... as well.
Engineering stuff.
The Bambulab X1C is fantastic, but like you I really need a larger build size - not so much Z height and really just the ability make long parts, so I would be very happy with a double/tripple wide version, as opposed to all the ones that work on cubic, as I really need to be able to make longer parts. What form factor would be best for someone like you?

I would hand over the money right away if they came with a X2C

Great review. Informative and What filament do you use for your laser jigs?

Because with all the problems that we had with the K1 series, I don't trust it.
It looks quite large, which is very appealing to me. I wouldn’t choose it for multi-color printing, as my A1 setup meets my needs. By the end of November, I'll be deciding between the K2plus and the FLsun S1pro.

I have needed a large format printer for a while now, several items I have designs for need to be cut because they are about 325mm. So far that rules out single print for me. I could borrow the local school's Ender 5 Plus to do the print on, but that's a PITA and I need to schedule time with the classes that use it. I heard Bambu was rumored to have a large format printer in the works for later in 2024 (but here we are in Mid-November and radio silence), but this? I mean, the quality looks to be there. 350C nozzle temp, heated chamber, hardened steel nozzle....and it should be available at my local MicroCenter soon? Yea...I may be skipping the wait on the Bambu Labs and getting this. Creality does 100% scare me, I've got 2 of their printers and I got 2 unicorns (I've never had issues as many others have), but I do know Creality can be a nightmare to deal with, and their printers can/do have issues.

This though makes it look like Creality may have done some serious work to get a high quality printer out to market, and that bed size? That could just seal the deal!

First time seeing your vids. And... Sub'd. Thank you.
Update on it and is it printing 24/7?

If you're only printing fairly low temp materials like PLA, throw some of Slice Engineering's plastic repellent paint (PTFE nanosuspension) on your nozzle. The only drawback I see is that it's only rated for 290C.

Nice video, printer definitely looks like it has potential. Near the end of the video, looks like the first layer failed though?

A couple of things I'd like to see is times for the following;
1). From getting a job, what's the time until it begins to print?
2). In the case of Multi colour, what is the time it takes to do a filament change and return to printing.

My XL 5TH takes almost 9 minutes to start which seems an eternity compared to the others. But the filament change is 5 seconds compared to Bambu's almost 30 seconds. This is where it kills the single toollheads for print speed.

Single colours mostly my 5M Pro will knock the job over quickest or if it's busy, the Bambu. But Muti colour the lack of waste and the speed it will always be the XL.

Does the dryer allow you to print right from the dryer box? If so, what kind of dryer is that?

Bambu are going to have to think carefully about price on their big printer when it arrives next year, you will always get the people who will buy bambu regardless of the price but this printer really impresses me and will get my money eventually.
