What Makes A Marriage Extraordinary?

My husband and I have been married almost 3 months now. We've discovered that when we study the Word and pray daily, we are better connected in all areas of our marriage. This is both our second marriages and both of us were married to unbelievers. So daily study and pray with a spouse is new and wonderful.

My wife and I have been married for 53 years. I tell people marriage is like a roller coaster ride a lot of ups and downs. But God will smooth them out for you if you will but trust in him.

I would only make one comment, I don’t think the word extraordinary. I have a very ordinary marriage and follows all the principles. Our marriage is based on God’s word. And that’s very ordinary and the way it should be.
