I review, breakdown and explain Alice In Borderland Season 2 Netflix and the game that appeared along with the Queen of Hearts in the finale called Croquet. I react to the rules of the game, how to beat it, along with the ending where we saw Arisu and Usagi win and escape.

the goal of the game was to give the Queen of Hearts a reason to finish the game. you couldn't force her to play croquet as she didn't mind dying; you had to win her heart, which Arisu/Usagi accomplished together. would be interesting to see how other players would have fared. chishiya would have had none of Mira's lies, but what would have made Mira finish the game in this case? chishiya would have had to create some mind games of his own.

I think a big reason why people were underwhelmed/confused was because the show didn’t go as in depth on Mira’s backstory. In the manga she reveals that she was a Psychiatrist in her past life, Arisu was drugged by the tea while Usagi refused to drink it which allowed her to help arisu and win the game. The drug in the tea neutered survival instincts and left the victim in a very manipulatable situation which made convincing arisu to kill himself much easier.

I think because it came right after King Of Spades that wiped out tons of people, I can see why people thought it was under whelming. But Queen Of Hearts could have delayed the game as long as she wanted. The only reason she stopped manipulating Arisu is because she was moved by Usagi's love for him. So it was the most difficult in that Queen Of Hearts had full control of everyone's fate.

One underrated aspect of this game is the choice of venue.

In order to break the players psychologically, Mira needs to make them drink her hallucinogenic tea, and as we can see, some players are more vigilant than others. Arisu drinks the tea whereas Usagi does not.

However, if the players had to climb all the way to the top of the building, they would be dehydrated by the time they reach the venue. In this situation, their incentive to consume any source of water would be palpable.

This also explains why the game involves physical exercise. If Mira can get the players to walk around endlessly under the blazing sun, they are more likely to consume the tea during break, which is when Mira truly goes on the offensive.

So what exactly happened when they returned? Did they forget everything or what?

Mira is so funny and awesome character both in season 1 in the end and in season 2 where she joked a lot ( virtual reality and android ).

The Queen of hearts didn't have a heart until this moment. She really wanted to be defeated to be restored.
