6.6KW SOLAR SYSTEM - JA Solar 330W Panels GOODWE 5KW Inverter

Hello everyone, today we had our 6.6KW Solar System installed for our home. The System comprises of 20 JA Solar 330W Panels. Panel Model is JA Solar JAM60S10-330/PR (330W). The Solar System comes with a GoodWe DNS 5KW Inverter with MPPT. As our roof space could not hold all 20 panels on the North facing side where the sun in Australia shines the most we had to use the west facing side for 8 Panels. On the North we have 12 panels. The two solar arrays are linked to the one GoodWe Inverter. With the current Federal and State Government Rebates Solar for homes at the present is very affordable.

During the installation we had 6 terracotta tiles break. When you consider they are 45+ years old they have done ok to date. I did purchase 20 second hand tiles for breakages. We now have 14 spares.

Just wondering how you are going with your bills after a year of solar and have you had any problems, I’m looking to put a system in using the same panels and inverter. Regards john
