Gil, club it means combine or group it together. It's a phrasal verb. Maybe we will make a lesson on it later! :)

In England they don't definitely call them counters. They call them aisles I think. And if you ask to club a Clubcard at Tesco you may cause some confusion :)

The speakers sound American, but this dialogue is totally weird and inauthentic. Plus, why are they using the word "counter" incorrectly? It seems like they really mean "aisle". IF you would use the word "counter" in a supermarket (which would be unusual), it MIGHT be used to reference a specific department, like Meat. So someone might say "Where can I find chicken liver?" and the reply might be "Check with the guy at the meat counter." But you're never going to find oats at a "counter". That would be more like "Oats are located on aisle 3".

And I have no idea what "Can I club it?" means. Nobody EVER EVER EVER would say this. It doesn't even make sense. It sounds like he means "Can I combine my club card with other discounts?" but "Can I club it?" is not an acceptable substitution -- this phrase means nothing. You might as well say "Can I booger it?"

Can't you teach them how to speak like the rest of us. This is why their sentence structure always sounds like a training videos from the 60's.
