Caitlin Clark Makes History As First WNBA Player To Reach 100 Threes And 200 Assists In A Season

Caitlin Clark became the first player in WNBA history with 100 three-pointers and 200 assists in a season.

The Indiana Fever star also became the first rookie to reach triple digit threes, and just the sixth player overall, after Sabrina Ionescu, Diana Taurasi, Arike Ogunbowale, Jewell Loyd, Kelsey Plum and teammate Kelsey Mitchell.

The Fever beat the Los Angeles Sparks 93-86, their fifth win in row for an Indiana team that just clinched a playoff spot for the first time since 2016, breaking the longest playoff drought in WNBA history.

With the Pacers’ Tyrese Halliburton watching along, Clark finished with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, her second triple-double, which are the only triple-doubles by a rookie in WNBA history.

Clark is on pace for 336 assists, which would beat Alyssa Thomas' single-season record of 316.

Ionescu holds the three pointer record with 128 in a season.
