My god I wanted to kill Hunter more than Ripto ....he constantly drops the orbs directly in front of Ripto especially during the metal Gulp stage .

God, I can't believe how much easier this fight was than Gulp. Took me over 10 tries to beat Gulp but I got Ripto on my first try. Granted, I watched this video first so I'd know what to do, but still. This was _way_ easier.

HOLY SHIT!! I could not do the flying part at all... then I accidentally pressed R1 and my life changed 😂 It makes you do massive flips and I never lost health after that

I have SO much trouble with this shitty flying part! I can't hit him once and it takes him not even a minute and it's game over for me. All. The. Time! No wonder that this game drove me nuts as a kid! It still does it nowadays! But still...I love that game and Ripto is such a cool character :3.

Best final boss in the trilogy, best boss in the trilogy, hell I would even say that this is one of the best final bosses in any video game. It uses all of the super mechanics you’ve learned up until this point and both turns them against you and uses them to your advantage. Yes, I wanted to kill Hunter after this, especially after the No hit run for a skill point, but I honestly think it makes the fight more interesting and challenging. As frustrating as it is.

The "randomization" for Hunter dropping orbs sucks. 8/10 times he drops it right in front or on Ripto. And then the flying segment his attacks almost never freakin miss and get such long range. I get they wanted to make it a challenge but f***!! I went in with 25+ lives and I'm down to 15!

Down to 5 lives and finally got the SOB!

Seems like Ripto's Fire ball projectile is faster than the original too (But smaller than the original)

maybe because in the original when he shooting Fire ball the frame rate drop so the it looks like you're in the slow motion mode
