Masjid Quba - the first mosque in Islam

Masjid Quba is honored in the Quran in Surah At-Tawbah (9:108):
"A mosque founded on piety from the first day is more worthy for you to stand in."
• This verse highlights the mosque's importance as a place of sincerity, faith, and devotion.

Sunnah of Visiting Quba
• Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) made it a habit to visit Masjid Quba weekly, often on Saturdays, to perform two rak'ahs of prayer.
• He encouraged his followers to do the same, promising great rewards:
"Whoever makes ablution at home and then goes to Masjid Quba and prays in it will have a reward like that of Umrah." (Sunan Ibn Majah)
