How about having 4 themes instead of just light (blinding white and half-baked dark):
- White theme for white lovers
- Light theme (super light gray backgrounds, just like Windows Vista/7)
- Dark theme for black haters (a dark shade of gray like macOS Mojave and not like Windows Store)
- Black theme for black souls 😅

That light mode reminds me of the fluent design concept screenshots from their early build conference.
Kinda nice and looks more consistent than the dark theme which is mostly black on the shell.

Dark is too black, looks awful to me, adobe at least makes you change the black to a custom shade...
