I was Gray. And I played the entire game without realizing that Druzhina was happening (because I didn't look at everyone's civs). I would see units disappear and was assuming it was some weird siege thing I wasn't understanding or I don't even know what. T90 mentioned the disappearing group of cannons at one point - I saw them and thought I was going to get wiped but tried sending a few Serjeants over there out of desperation. The cannons never showed up at my base and later I realized why.

I'm currently working on a custom "heroes company" map where you have to keep your starting units alive long enough to find a deployable TC. It's looking pretty amazing. I wish I knew how to script better so I could spawn units and stuff and switch control of towns when the units are killed.

The lack of warrior priest was a little disappointing, they had +200% speed so they would have been quite insane against the SO and had an advantage for splash. They probably produced slower, but in splash battles, having a few extra speedy ones helps a lot

To answer the krepost/donjon/tower issue, they all occupy the same spot, so the only way to build them all is by having separate hotkeys, which not a lot of people do. You can give them different hotkeys in settings

22:45 this is a weird few seconds. Green's petard gets hit point blank with a teal bombard cannon shot. At the same time, a distant teal SO behind the main SO mass fires a single, long-range shot at green's petard. The bbc shot gets there first, and there's a long delay before the unit simply disappears without the explosion animation. Then, after another short delay, the explosion animation occurs where the petard used to be. Then teal's SO mass fast-moves over the position previously occupied by green's petard. Teal's original onager shot finally lands on the ex-petard position, splatting several of teal's SOs with friendly fire, making it almost appear that the green petard might have killed them. Karma, sort of?

If you ever get into a commie 10x game, make 1 of each unit and see the stats just to ensure you know the best one to use (and try to go through the other bonuses, perhaps a quick tech tree peek during the "slower" start to ensure you don't miss a bonus detail). The warrior priest strategy would have been amazing here.
