Is this brand the new rival for LAB Golf?!

In Rick Shiels' review of the Evnroll Zero putters, he dives into the unique technology and design features of this high-MOI putter that promise to enhance stability and forgiveness on off-center strikes. The standout feature is its forward-weighted "Face Forward" technology, which helps golfers reduce wrist breaks during the stroke, providing a more stable and straighter putt.

For golfers seeking advanced forgiveness and stability features, this putter offers a lot to explore, particularly if you struggle with consistency on the greens

Just goes to show that a putter is a very personal choice as I totally disagree with Rick regarding the DF3.
I love my DF3 and have so much confidence with it. I find the face very stable and does not twist as it does in Ricks assessment. However, during my LAB fitting, I found the heavier head a lot more stable than the standard head..maybe that's the difference?
As always though Rick, love the videos, and thanks for reigniting my love of the game over the years.

13:05 is an absolute yank left (the path is horrendous) and then blames the putter for not being forgiving on off center hits. With a path like that, it’s going to go left no matter where on the face you hit it

Am I the only one who thought the putting Matt was all over the place in this video? At least two putts went left and then right as they ran to the hole

Ok... so after watching this and your success with the 38", I got one. This putter is outstanding and rolls great (like in your review).
Previously had a MM CB, and a SC SS Squareback 38, both of which were just ok for me.
Took the Z1 out today to my home course and rolled 4 putts on each hole (played the back 9) and the difference was amazing (5, 10, 15, 20 foot range). Z1 38 is my new putter for all of 2025!!!

I was thinking about one of the no torque putters, but then I won an HB2 from Cleveland. I really like it, and my putting is even sharper than it was.
Probably the last putter I will ever own is already in my hands.
Always great videos, and I liked the scramble with You Tubers, too.

I got fitted for a Lab Mezz max today. I had the same issue with the off center hits. Until the fitter changed the lie balance complete game changer I purposely hit it on the toe and it preformed really good 👍🏼 didn’t sink it but a no problem tap in

I use an Odyssey StrokeLabs DoubleWide now, and love it. But I recently used a LAB Mezz.1 putter, and fell in love with it. I'm considering making a swap. I don't like the DF3 shape, but the Mezz does actually appeal to me.

Imagine you are the engineer that poured his heart into this new putter tech and Rick grabs it and nearly shanks 10 puts in a row and therefore it sells significantly less than it otherwise would have if he made maybe 1 putt of the 10.

Yes counterbalanced is the key. I was remotely custom fit with LAB at 72°. Went ahead and custom ordered a counterbalanced, heavier head option at 36 inches. 17 in. LAB SS grip. Putter is lights out. Would love to try this counterbalanced version of the EVNROLL

Interestingly enough, I started this summer with the Evenroll X that you are trying out, and anything 10 feet and under was great. Where I was having trouble is with longer putts and distance control, but only on the X putter and not their more standard putter. Switched to the LAB putter, and the distance control was much better. Good friend of mine had the same issue with the Evenroll X and went to LAB with better results on longer putts, just like I did.

The Lab DF3 is so good, it’s the best golf purchase I’ve ever made. Rick’s comments are pretty strange about the off center hits, I purposely hit off center just to test this and it still goes straight. If you’re considering one, just try it out yourself, don’t form your opinion from just one YouTuber’s opinion.

I'm sure this works well for a more straight-back straight-through swing for someone with a lot of back bend, but as someone who stands more upright when putting which gives more of an arc to the stroke, I NEED the feel & feedback of a putter that actively wants to open & close as the pendulum swings otherwise I have no sense of where the face is at any given point in the stroke. It's not a flawed concept but it's also not a silver bullet that can fix anyone's putting.

From distance that putting Mat just doesn’t look like it runs true with misses both ways 🤔

DF3 is probably one of the most stable putters on the market with little to none twisting. It’s the whole point. No putter is gonna make a massive pull go in 🤷🏼‍♂️.

I like the look of the counter balanced Evnroll. The look and the softness of the face of the L.A.B. has kept me from going all in on one. I’ve been using a Phantom X12 for a little over a year now. This new Evnroll might be worth a look.

Sam Hahn of L.A.B. makes a great point about the emulator-putters now flooding the industry, which is that a fixed hosel will limit the configurations since at most you could adjust the loft or lie angle by 2° max without then messing with the "no torque" feature.

I have the evnroll zero and love it. Save a few putts every round the feeling of the face is amazing

Slightly strange to suggest that the LAB twists loads on off centre hits when it is designed to do the exact opposite. In your previous review you holed 12 in a row with the LAB but then gave up on it after playing 2 holes out on the course? Ive just got a LAB myself and i would argue that im holing some putts now that were not centre hits and definitely would have missed with my previous putter. It takes some getting used to, especially just letting the putter head do its thing instead of trying to manipulate the face, and distance control takes some bedding in but for me personally I'm hitting my intended start line way more often now.

you can tell just by the way the ball is rolling the floor hes putting on is not level lol you can see at 5:50 the ball start left then go back right to fall in.
