Björk's 'Mutual Core' in Times Square

Streaming Museum presents Björk's "Mutual Core" for Times Square's Midnight Moment. Video by David Bates, Jr.

Björk's "Mutual Core", directed by Andrew Thomas Huang, that has been edited specifically for the program and is part of Björk's Biophilia series. This video re-mix, shown just before midnight every night in March 2013, is part of a synchronized program on over fifteen of the largest digital signs in Times Square. Midnight Moment is a presentation of the Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC) and Times Square Arts. The original version of the video was created by MOCAtv for the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art. Björk's "Mutual Core" was part of the NYC launch of Streaming Museum's Nordic Outbreak, an internationally touring exhibition of 30 Nordic moving image artworks curated for public spaces.

Were there accidents during the display of this video? I mean, if it was me watching it there, I'd have fainted; If I was driving, I'd have crashed into someone or something. The depth and beauty of Bjork's video works are not for the faint-hearted or mentally-unprepared, and watching the youtube clip alone made my blood boiled. Just amazing! Life time fan here.

WOW! I really love this song! I wish I could have seen it live! But it was better to be just a metre far from her in person! =)
