I'm using a Caline Bass Chorus Pedal for the one high part, but I miss the timing slightly coming in a little late. I'm using the clean channel on the Peavey VB-MA, but listening very closely to Chris Squires sound, it has just ever so slight hint of grit. Maybe on another song I'll add the unique blend channel. Using the Post EQ DI signal from the amplifier and blending it with the SE condenser microphone to one of the 410 speakers.

There's an art to playing simple bass lines. Sometimes it's actually tougher to play simple bass lines than it is to play all that complicated stuff that you hear from artists like Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, etc. Always been a big fan of prog rock. YES definitely fits into this category archetype.
