Hi! Everything connects and I can use the keyboard to type and mouse around, but the volume up/down buttons on the keyboard are not controlling my stereo receiver. It previously was set up and working fine through the Chromecast remote. Any thoughts?

need some assistance - i tried hooking up a Logitech K400 and didn't work; Chromecast did power up and display correctly; I also tried a K400R with the same results. I did try different cables and different power supplies but still not working. Obviously used fresh batteries etc

Are you aware that you don't need to use 2 Logitech Unifying dongles? You can just sync both the mouse and keyboard to the same dongle using the Unifying software on a PC.

My usb keyboard on chromecast doesn't work right. Q insta a tab, my W saved E keys seem to invoke some sort of fast-forward and rewind operation. Keyboard works fine on a windows pc. So what settings so I have to change in the Chromecast to make the keyboard work like a keyboard?

Hi I just bought a Google Chromecast with tv and I'm having trouble with clicking on things inside certain program menus. Specifically AI reader. It's an ebook reader program. When I click with the mouse nothing happens. And if I put the pointer on where I want it and click with the big button it just closes the menu. Any ideas?

Maybe you have figured this out by now but the little red icons on your Wi-Fi dongles mean they are unifying, on PC you could connect both of your devices to one of those and only need one plugged in.

Thanks for this video, there are not many resources online that state the usb c port on the chromecast canbe used for data too, just threads saying the only option is to use your tv as an external display for a laptop

I bought the GCwGTV with the wired Ethernet power pack. Does that replace the suggested Anker power plug? I really want to avoid a wireless connection and stay with the reliability of a wired connection. Does Google's plug put out enough power for the Anker and other USB accessories? Or do I need the better power plug and a separate USB Ethernet adapter?
