▬▬ ABOUT MY CHANNEL ▬▬

👋 My name is Ryan & at age 30 I quit my day job. I used to work full time as a Sr. Front End Web Developer (I quit this job), & part-time as an adjunct professor teaching web development at a local university (I kept this job — I like teaching!). Both of my day jobs were awesome! But that couldn't change the fact that I'm completely addicted to the idea of building passive income streams that will allow me to retire from ever working a 9 to 5 job again.

The information shared on my YouTube channel & resources made available is for educational, informational purposes.

Retro sunset is here to stay, evergreen niche for sure. And the color pallets (about 40 of them ) from Kittl are very helpful! Thanks Ryan, as always, concise, precise, no fluff approach.

In my experience Canva has much richer variety of elements compared to Kittl. I go to Kittl to use designs that are already done by other designers and I make some slight adjustments such as changing the phrases, but if I'm scraping a design using elements from scratch, Canva is my go to place

Funny that you posted this. I was thinking earlier about a public domain illustration and how I could remove one element from it to use in another design. My idea was to use one of these sunsets but in a way that I hadn't seen but it's probably out there 😂 but not exactly like my idea. Going to take the coincidence of this video as a sign to go for it Heidi

These people are spending $10K+ on ads. I don't have that much cash to risk.

Ryan, I'm not sure how to ask this. Is there a way to turn the color of the element in the foreground to be "off" similar to how you turn off the background color so it would work on any color t-shirt?

Which Kittl plan would I need to do what you did in your video?

The texture layer on these “worn/vintage” styles is sometimes hard to remove. It doesn’t translate smoothly to Printify, which reads the texture as an opaque compressed layer. Is there a way to fix this? Thx and thx for the great content!

In Kittle should you also click on the optimize Quality, below the remove background?

When using the same design, but changing some graphic elements, do you use the same title for each variation?

Lol I don't usually follow the advice of dudes wearing their cap that way, but in your case I'm making an exception! TY for great content :)

What do you find is easiest to get started in POD tee shirts or KDP coloring/low content books on Amazon?

Hey Ryan, I've sold 191 T-shirts with different designs, but I'm still stuck in Tier 10 after 9 months. I don't think they'll Tier me up anytime soon, and I don't want to miss out on Q4. I'm thinking of integrating Amazon with Printful, but there are cons like no Prime eligibility, monthly fees, and fees per sale, which means a small profit margin. Plus, competing with Merch by Amazon prices and dealing with returns is a concern.

Do you think it's worth it?

Hello Ryan, Thank you so much for your videos. I've been watching your videos and also been watching the videos from Greg Gottfried who claims by only designing for sub niches after a about a 6 months to a years time you can expect to make a dollar a month on average from each design. I would like to believe this but I'm very skeptical. He has over a half million subs, and I suspect he makes most of his money from his affiliates to Place It and Merch informer. I would like to examine your course as well because I like your honesty. Do you even think it's possible to make a dollar a month on average per design?

Yeah I know you and some others get paid by kittl but I don’t use it and won’t. They like printful and Erank and a couple of others have no ethics or morals. I wish you’d get a knew gig and promote or at least show other options for design. Nevertheless I’ve been designing longer than you have been alive so I can figure it out. And I do appreciate your input on niches (nich) 😊
