I think this is the best "Friends..." vid I've seen. The opening notes had me stumped. I suspected it was capo on the second but this fully explained it. Thanks much!

@Benjamin Klove - That is true when he plays it live.  However, if you listen to the recording (specifically the 5 chord), they clearing are using a capo on the second fret.

I have to do this at church on Sunday, covering both parts.... UGH. I'll figure it out, but man, it will sound like the part in this where he solos without the other guitar... Not looking forward to that, but will nail it regardless. It just won't be very fun...

You dont have to use a capo, theres another tutorial I learned from on YouTube the same way with no capo it sounds awesome.
