How to edit Shopify Theme in a safe way

Edit the code of your Shopify Theme without messing anything up.

1. Edit HTML / Liquid: Create a Snippet and insert it where you want it in the theme using {% include 'my-snippet' %}
Replace my-snippet with whatever name you chose for your snippet.

Replace custome-style with whatever you called your own file.

Lastly, remember to back everything up so that you can always copy paste it again should it get lost. It's also a good idea keeping a download of your original theme before editing it. That way you can always return to the source.
