- Prime Minister Modi, the first Indian leader to make an official bilateral visit to Brunei, expressed his anticipation of strengthening ties with the Southeast Asian nation.
- Recently, two Russian ballistic missiles struck a military training facility and a nearby hospital in Poltava, Ukraine, resulting in at least 41 deaths and injuring 180 others.
- Following rainfall in its upper catchment areas, authorities discharged 1.19 lakh cusecs of water from Ukai Dam. The dam's water level is now just five feet below the danger mark of 345 feet.
