The sungrazer comet was captured by the ESA/NASA Solar & Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) in Jan. 2002. It will come within SOHO's field of view again for a few days starting on Oct. 25, 2017.

Yea it's cool to see but it was facing straight to us so we are going to see some earthquake or more hurricanes because of the sun rays

Did the comet flying that close cause that big explosion of plasma(or whatever that is)?
