This is right on time. I've been looking at budget IEMs this week.

I play by ear. I don't consider myself to be at a professional level to really invest in such gear, but lack of monitoring is consistently affecting my gig satisfaction.

I tried using a mixer and headphones last week, but I was still drowning in the wall of sound from other bandmates. 😾

Thank you THANK YOU for going into a little detail about this. I'm new to the performing world and you'd be surprised how tight-lipped a lot of other musicians can be about setting about rigs and what to expect when playing out. I guess they kind of embrace that "trial by fire" method for newbies like me. So ANY info you can spare for new guys like me is really appreciated.

Can I ask the dimensions and total units in your rack, or do you have a link to it?

I want to set up my band's PA rig this way. Unfortunately, a larger rack is needed to accommodate the splitter/stage box, and my current rack already barely fits in the car (no trailer sadly). Fortunately, the splitter and snake combo isn't needed at almost any venue we usually play, so it's not a priority, but there are times when it would be nice.
