I love it when Alfie mentions Freddie Adu like, almost every video...

Wait a second - Freddy Adu is on Cameo? And you haven't *once* hired him to do the intro? Alfie mate what are you waiting for

I could have sworn Gabriel Jesus is arsenal’s highest earner on like £265k a week??

My clubs (Coventry) entire wage bill is £113, 000 a week and we're 3 points from the playoffs, this is so unsustainable for football as a whole. And bear in mind us being a top flight club would only be an odd proposition because of mismanagement we were in the top flight for 34 consecutive seasons and were a founding member of the PL. We're the kind of club that should really have the size and resources to have top flight ambitions yet this is the gulf that exists

The lowest earners would be interesting to see as well

The problem is this is affecting the championship as clubs are desperate for the premier league, never have I known so many financial problem/points deductions/ transfer embargo’s in one season

None of Luton’s players even make the top 100 of earners in the Championship. Alfie did make an excellent video on LTFC by the way. We are currently in 4th. It’s kind of scary that we could end up in the Premier League if we make the playoffs and are successful in them.

The Premier League itself is almost an analogy for British society at large; a select small percentage of the obscenely rich keep getting richer whilst the gulf between it and the rest of British football widens. Not only that, but it does so in a vacuum compared to the rest of Europe.

Damsgaard has actually performed better than expected, considering he moved to the Premier League after not having played a game for around a year with chronic arthritis in his knee.

Neto moving from Barcelona to Bournemouth has to be among the most bizzare transfers of all time. Still I wouldn't be surprised if he moves to another club next season since Bournemouth are likely to be relegated.

PL clubs logic

If you can't make your super league, become THE Super League.

This list made me a little more proud of Barça's current board. They're not sitting around watching the club drown due to Bartomeu's decisions but has instead taken the initiative to get the club back up on its feet even if it requires ruthlessness.

While I personally wouldn’t do what Gueye done, you can’t use the fact he had beer on his shirt to say it wasn’t a religious decision.

Just like Christianity, not all sins are equal (murder is worse than stealing) and homosexuality is considered worse than alcohol, and that was obviously where Gueye draws the line.

As a brazilian myself, I'm kinda surprised that so many fellow countrymen are the highest paid player, or at least top 3, of so many PL clubs. I had no idea of that. Even Leeds United's Rodrigo, who now represents Spain, is brazilian from birth 😅

Did he just miss Gabriel Jesus for Arsenal?

Appreciate you bringing attention to the Gueye incident Alfie

The funny thing is however, Zaha would be earning at least 50% more if he had joined a Top 7 club.

i would argue, whatever you think of de Gea, for the last almost 10 years until this season he was the only reason United didnt finish outside top 10 in many horrible seasons
