Does anybody know if Traxxas fixed the esc problems on the Xmaxx? After the 8s Xmaxx came out many people had problems with that vxl 8s esc

From what I have seen I think that you should swap out the Traxxas Esc for a hobbywing Max 5 or max 6.

And I agree. The xmaxx tires are the worst tires I've ever had. Out of the box, 2 were only partially glued, talk to traxxas and sent pick, got 2 new tires. And I bought a new pai myself to have another set. I asked the guy why was the tires so squishy and he said because they had been run.? One of the originals is also low like a flat tire. So i did recently put Badlands on it. Love them. Have the proline MX2s on my typhon 3s. Same tread pattern and excellent grip.

Jake, do you perfer 3s or 2s lipo on a Slash 4x4? Because i dont want to destroy my driveshafts or rub the tires on the underside of the body. I usually drive on grass and small rocks so what do you perfer?
